According to preliminary estimates, the hepatitis B surface antigen protein produced by three goats each year is sufficient to produce 20 million hepatitis B vaccines. Preliminary animal experiments have shown that hepatitis B antibodies can be produced safely by oral administration of the hepatitis B surface antigen protein, which will be a revolution in hepatitis B immunity. At present, there are dozens of medicinal proteins produced in the world by mammary gland bioreactors.
